BAL Single-Cell Atlas
Explore BAL single-cell composition, inspect marker expression, and predict cell types for new samples.
Interactive visualization of BAL single-cell data with a web-based prediction workflow for single-sample 10x Genomics input.
Explore UMAP
Browse the overall cellular landscape of the BAL atlas.
- View cells colored by cell_type1, cell_type2, or cell_type3
- Filter cells within the selected annotation level
- Overlay gene expression on the UMAP
Inspect Gene Expression
Examine marker expression across annotation levels.
- View violin plots grouped by annotation level
- Use marker-aware gene selectors linked to the chosen level
Predict Cell Types
Upload a new sample and obtain hierarchical cell-type predictions.
- Upload one single-sample 10x matrix
- Run prediction for celltype1, celltype2, and celltype3
- Retrieve recent results using a Job ID
Input Requirements
- One sample per job
- Upload one set of: matrix.mtx(.gz), features.tsv(.gz), barcodes.tsv(.gz)
- Gene symbols required (not Ensembl IDs)
- Do not combine files from different samples
Resource Limits
- Maximum upload size: 200 MB
- Maximum non-zero entries: 10,000,000
- Maximum cells: 50,000
- Jobs exceeding these limits will be rejected before prediction starts
Results and Job IDs
- Save your Job ID after submission
- Results are kept for about 2 hours
- Recent jobs can be retrieved using the Job ID
